The owners were very warm and welcoming, the room was very comfortable (and quiet), and the breakfast was excellent (and served in a very nice dining room). WiFi access was reasonably fast too. I'd had a long day before arriving (I drove from York in mostly foggy conditions) but the next morning I felt fully refreshed for the day ahead. -

We loved everything about this beautiful hotel! The owners and staff were very friendly, interesting and helpful. We were made to feel welcome instantly. They also had excellent knowledge of the local area and gave us good recommendations for eating out. We stayed in the stunning and very luxurious "red" room, which was large, clean and comfortable. We had a very pleasant 4 night stay at the Westwood Guest House. The owner, Lavinia, was very welcoming and the overall quality of the accommodation was superb. Plenty of information about Lyme Regis was sent in advance which was a nice touch. Lovely choice of breakfast and the fridge in the room was very useful, including fresh milk on arrival. The hotel is described as a Restaurant with Rooms. It is a small independent hotel owned by the excellent chefs who have great experience of working in luxury hotels worldwide. They provide good accommodation with attention to detail. All staff were both friendly, helpful and professional.

Staff couldn't have been nicer. Especially young Katie. Went out of her way to make us comfortable. Lovely stay,! Was partners 50th birthday. I asked hotel to put baloons and fizz in the room, which they did along with some unexpected strawberries.. this was a lovely touch and we were very pleased.
