We stayed in the new Silver Suite - it was extremely comfortable with a most beautiful view across the water.
Needless to say, but the food was magnificently presented and absolutely delicious.
The staff were exceptionally courteous and delightfully friendly. You felt you were staying with friends.

Comfortable room with magnificent view of the lake. We had originally
booked for two nights but had to leave after just one night due to
family reasons - hotel staff were very kind in this regard. Excellent
breakfast.

the hostress, Phillipa (hope I didn't wrongly spell her name) was very kind. She welcomed us with delicious tea and cookies, and provided us some milk and cereal when she heard we had to catch up an early train and would miss the breakfast - hmm, the breakfast was quite good here. The room was clean and cozy, enough space and we even saw a deer outside the window. Overall it was really nice stay, I could understand why this guesthouse could get such a high rating.

The location of the hotel is perfect, just a minute away from the lake. Breakfast was very nice and the access to the SPA at the Old McDonald is the cherry on top. Without exception, the staff were delightful. Extremely helpful in terms of the stay but also shared knowledge about local area- walks,shopping etc.Flexible about check in / out times - welcomed early and wasn't 'rushed' out.

Clean comfortable room. Large car park. All the staff were very friendly and cheerful despite being very busy in both restaurant and bar. Food was excellent with a good choice available. The real ales were also in top condition! Thanks to Jooles and everyone for making my stay so enjoyable. Must return!
