  The hotel has a vibrant atmosphere generated by the design and the very friendly staff.The location was just what we wanted providing local pubs and restaurants whilst in the centre of lovely scenery and places to visit.We would visit again and infactr booked our son and his girlfriend in for a birthday weekend.We would go back again and ask to st... hva folk sier » ay in room 3 only because we peeped in and it was more modern. - Very Dog friendly, very welcoming and attentive to all of our needs. Tea and cake in the afternoon of our arrival was a nice touch. Central location made it handy for shops, high level of cleanliness and top spec furniture and fittings. Good beer!

  Large clean bedroom. Excellent staff along with good food both at evening meal which we had booked on arrival and breakfast where nothing was too much trouble. - The staff where fantastic, friendly and very helpful. We stayed in the hotel for two nights and will defenitly be going back

  Extremely warm welcome and they let me park my motorcycle indoors so it was totally secure. Very friendly. Also (free) wireless in my room. There's another greta pub over the road from this one with a georgeous barmaid! Both highly recommended. - Excellent breakfast.   The staff were very friendly , welcoming and always ready to help. The location , set in woods and hills above Lake Windermere , is fantastic. As for the hotel , it had character and charm , with some very appealing features. The food was excellent. - Attention to detail and being made extremely welcome
