Everything was perfect. The staff, the food, the room everything was just perfect. Its also a great location just between windermere and bowness. Brilliant stay, fully recommend. - excellent accomodation clean tidy value for money breakfast was very good and plenty to eat from our personnal point of view we could not fault it at all

The hotel was in a lovely setting in the select village of Wetheral, close to the city of Carlisle. Lovely walks by the river Eden, just minutes away and lots of history in the nearby St. Constantine's cell and the English Heritage abbey gatehouse. This was a perfect break. The staff are such a friendly team and really go out of their way to make guests feel welcomed. The views out over the fells make you feel relaxed in the first 5 minutes. A tramp in the sun, a swim, a spell in the hot tub outside and then a good meal - what else could you want for your holiday? -
