  Everything about The Kite Inn made it a home away from home and a fabulous place for our stay in Oxford. Location: It's in a quiet neighborhood, a 5-minute walk from the train station and a 10-minute walk to the city centre and attractions. It was huge, with 2 comfy beds, an armoire, a large table with a monitor for telly as well as room for our stuff, other amenities, and plenty of - This is no ordinary B & B but a century old pub situated in a quiet residential area, 5 minutes from the train station and 10 from the city centre, with friendly helpful staff and excellent food at a good price. I stayed two nights and had intended going into the city for the evenings but ate and drank in the pub instead, great food and cask ales I really enjoyed it - even the locals were friendly! I was there for research at a University college a mile or two away and it was raining so the

  Our visit as part of a self-organised university tour. The Bocardo is central and walking distance to most of the colleges, museums, shops, malls and covered market. It is located on George Street above Jamie Oliver's restaurant, cinemas and theatre across the road. Bed, linen, l'occitane toiletries are 5 star hotel grade and they provide in-room... hva folk sier » tea and coffee facility. Although breakfast is not provided, George Street has an array of cafes and restaurants serving breakfast by 6am. - I loved everything about The Boacardo and would recommend it to anyone. They went out of their way to give us an early check in, helped by holding our bags after our stay while we did a tour, recommended a good food pub, offered adapters, had quality toiletries, etc. Beds were comfortable, and temperature could be controlled by us.This was a delightful hotel which I would stay in again.
