The owner was very welcoming. Also our room had various items e.g. dvd player, alarm clock etc which while, not strictly necessary, gave our stay a nice touch. - short and sweet: just great (put i don't try the breakfast)

The Lakeside was well located in Oxford---within walking distance to most of the colleges, museum, etc., but outside of the hustle and bustle of Oxford proper, so was a bit more quiet. Very helpful owners who went out of their way to make our stay excellent. The room was very comfortable; breakfast was varied and generous. Really appreciated the central heating in the mornings and evenings and the exceptionally hot shower ! Close to city centre. We are in our 70sand we could walk there in 10 mins.

We stayed at the Dial House for two nights. It was not planned trip and was a last minute booking. We could not have asked for more. The family were wonderful, really friendly and helpful.
