  The location was close enough to shops and restaurants, and a long walk or quick bus ride into downtown. It was clean and comfortable and although the hosts/employees were on the shy and quiet side, they did a great job and were friendly.   The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were very helpful with information regarding the area and how to get around. The breakfast was excellent, and you could specify what time you wanted it by and your preferences.   very friendly efficient staff. Clean room. Very good breakfast. Good value - Staff pleasant, and the lady who greeted us was very helpful in discovering information for us, giving us the fresh milk requested in ample quantity and ordering us a taxi. Car park very useful. Location good.

  I stayed a night before an interview. Carol, the landlady/ manager is very friendly, exactly the lovely hallmark character of this B&B as described by others on TripAdvisor. Friendly welcome, lovely room, comfortable and clean. It's next to Abingdon road so obviously you can hear some traffic but not disturbing. The breakfast was ready at 8am when I said I would have it and served warm in a clean and homel - I liked absolutely everything about Cornerways Guest House. Carol, the landlady was so warm, friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Her attention to detail shows that she genuinely loves what she does. She gave us good advice and recommendations and helped make our whole visit a delightful experience. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room was comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. We booked 2 nights but enjoyed it so much we had to stay a third night.

  Di was very welcoming. I arrived 2 hours early but was shown to my room straight away. I could leave my car in the drive. She gave me a lift into the town centre which was a great help. I felt more like a member of the family than a paying guest. Everything in the house was clean and comfortable. A really lovely place to stay. It was my partners birthday and they bought a cake and put up birthday banners (their idea, no extra cost) - it was a lovely surprise at breakfast. Thank you very much :)
