They were unable to fix the problem straight away, therefore the manager arrived and moved us immediately to a superior room with complimentary drinks. I booked the Malmaison mainly for the fact that it is a converted jail and that it was in a Lewis episode. It was a bit of a splurge & worth every penny! The bar was fantastic & both bartenders that we encountered were quite lovely! We were treated really well by both gentlemen. By far one of the best experiences I've had in a hotel in the uk. I would love to come back & spend more time.

Access to bus stop. A bit of a walk, but worth it not to have to drive. Disability friendliness. Although we didn't need the Disability access of our room, it looks as though it was very well designed with no gaps for access.
