The UK's only purpose-built floating hotel is close to the shops and bars of the town centre, and features a restaurant and late night bar overlooking the river.
Many of the area’s attractions such as the Blue Planet Aquarium, Chester Zoo, Haydock Races and Oulton Park can be reached by car from the hotel.

The Waterside Restaurant and Swingbridge Bar offer both simple snacks such as baguettes and burgers, and a choice of 1, 2 or 3-course meals. All grill meals are cooked on a char grill for extra flavour.
The restaurant is open from 19:00 until 21:30 (Monday to Thursday) and is closed on Sunday nights. Times on Fridays and Saturdays can vary, with the restaurant closed on some of these nights. Please check with the hotel before arrival to avoid disappointment.

Northwich is a pretty market town in the North of Cheshire where you can find a small market open on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. There are a number of nice bars, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance from the hotel. Warrington, Runcorn, Winsford and Middlewich are all within a short distance.
Cheshire Farm Ice Cream: 17 miles (27 km) - Perfect for ice cream lovers of all ages, this farm has a tea room, a shop, an outdoor play zone and viewing area where the cows are milked.
Arley Hall and Gardens: 6 miles (9.5 km) - Set amid a 2000 acre estate, Arley Hall boasts a wonderfully landscaped park.

Travelling information
By Car
From the M6:
- Exit the M6 at junction 19 and follow the A556.
- Take the first signpost on the right, marked Northwich (and Lostock Gralam).
- Follow the signs for Northwich and the town centre.
- In the town centre, pass the police station and law courts.
- Take the next left turn and follow the brown/white tourism signs marked 'Quality Hotel'.
From the M56:
- Exit at junction 10 and follow the A49, signposted to Whitchurch.
- At the junction with the A533, turn left, following signs for Barnton/Northwich.
- Follow the A533 into Northwich. Turn right at the court building and right again at the next set of traffic lights.
- The hotel is 140 metres away on the left.
By Train:
Northwich Station (Chester to Manchester line) is approximately 1.6 km (1 mile) from the hotel. Alternatively, Hartford Station (West coast / Crewe to Liverpool line) is approximately 4 km (2.5 miles) from the hotel.
