Warm welcome,Plenty of parking very easy to find.It is only 5 minute walk into the middle of holiday part of town and easy walking distance for beach.Good views out to sea from resturant back of hotel.decent size warm clean pool kids loved it .Good breakfast all staff warm and friendly.Excellent value for money

Excellent customer service from the minute of entering right through to leaving. Nothing was too much for them. Everywhere you went it was clean. Nice size rooms, restuarant etc. Definitely would recommend it and possibly return again maybe even withthe children this time. -

Awesome historic building overlooking the sea but don't be put off. Room was very modern, heated bathroom floor and the best shower I've ever been in. Clearly renovated recently. Restaurants were good, great breakfast (overlooking the ocean) and dinner. Friendly enough staff. Little expensive but not overpriced. Would stay here again.

Everything. Location was perfect. Views were perfect. Shack was so clean and tidy and provided everything you needed. The access to toilets showers and food was so easy. The price was extremely fair. We booked a suite and it was worth every penny, great views great room great breakfast.
We had a swim and had the pool to ourselves its a little dated and in need of some TLC but you would have to be a real winger to complain about this detail. The lifts worked fine but we opted to walk up the tastefully decorated stairs.

Stayed for a weekend in February 2013 and we enjoyed every minute. Hotel very welcoming, clean, nice and warm.
Restaurant is mega quirky and a joy to relax in.
Leisure area utilised, sauna excellent combined with dips in the pool (Which was a bit fresh!)
The breakfast was - delicious. Plenty of choice to be had both hot and cold.
All in all a very enjoyable, relaxing stay and we will book again without hesitation!

Bar staff were friendly and pleasent. - the hotel was extremely quiet, which meant you had a good nights sleep, although this was probably due to the fact the majority of guests seemed to be over 70.

The location of the hotel although being outside the main centre of newquay was ideal as Tolcarne beach was on the doorstep.
On arrival we were allocated room 9 which is probably the pick of all the rooms due to the lovely balcony overlooking Tolcarne Beach.
The hotel is spotless, as are the rooms with soft clean white towels and comfy beds.

I was very impressed with the Staff, from the time I arrived we were made very welcome from Eilleen, Micheal, then Joseph was excellant, nothing was a problem, basically all then staff where professional and are a credit to the Hotel. I will be coming back next year with my family and will be letting friends and family know how good our stay was, thank you

The Hotel is within walking distance of the centre of the town, but far enough out to be quiet. I enjoyed my first stay there so much, Ive revisited 3 years in a row. Although I havent made use of all the facilities, they do have their own laundry, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Ive always found the staff polite, friendly and helpful. -

We stayed 3 nights, our room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good. The hotel is in a great location being only a short walk to beaches, pubs and restaurants.
