  Very nice rural location, with excellent country pub next door serving good food. The rooms were reasonably spacious and very clean. Lovely big double bed. Excellent breakfast served by the owner who was friendly and helpful. All round good value for money. - Able to take pets without excessive associated prices.   I checked in early evening and was greeted well by the Managers, then taken straight to my room. They made a real effort to accommodate me and always with a smile. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. My Executive room was very clean, tidy and quite large for what I had expected. I had evening Dinner at the restaurant which was very good val... hva folk sier » ue for money but the food was delicious - their chef was very good indeed. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty on both days. I enjoyed my stay there. - The staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome - even though they were very busy with the restaurant and bar area.The evening meal we had on the Friday evening was excellent. We will be booking the Millgate House Hotel again for our visit to Newark next year for the Vintage Tractor Show.
