  The room was excellent, very comfortable, a good size and in a very peaceful location. The resturant food was excellent and breakfast was continental, which was in a fridge in the room, which was a good idea as I could have breakfast and leave for work as early as i wanted. - This is a great place to stay.   It is as if time has stopped. Beautiful and of great historical value. I enjoyed every minute of my stay. Staff is very helpfull and they enjoy their job which is very important. High class. two dumbs up ! - I was there for a family wedding and everything about the hotel, location and staff was abslutely fantastic. would thooughly recommend it

  We stayed one night - made very welcome - had a lovely walk round the lovely village and then a great swim in the pool - there was only us in the pool - what a treat.Excellent situation to get into london - in fact we were in central London all parked up and ready to go by 8 am - having left the hotel at 6.45 - (thus cant comment on the breakfast... hva folk sier » !0 - Staff were extra friendly and helpful (not to mention beautiful, Jade)!! Food was really nice. Breakfast was lovely, not greasy at all. Bed was super comfy, had a great nights sleep. Pool was nice enough, and the steam room was nice to relax in.

  The staff were incredibly friendly and the facilities were just perfect. Brendan, in particular, was wonderful and I look forward to staying there again soon. - The proprietors; Brendan and Lesley, are absolutely wonderful, it feelslike we are being welcomed into their home every time we go.
