The bar had a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the food was delicious and very good value for money.
The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful.

the food was excellent; the venison was cooked pink and rare, just as I liked it...the duck was well done and the vegetables perfect....breakfast [full English] spot on... the choice of beers was really good too and the staff were very friendly and good at their jobs...it was a very cold night with snow yet the room was very warm and cosy...thanks so much
