  The hotel was in a lovely location, a perfect break before travelling further into Scotland. The welcome was genuinely friendly and all staff were very helpful. Although not included in the price of room our £8 Full Scottish breakfast was plentiful and the Haggis was lovely. Rooms were very comfortable having been recently updated, contemporary, stylish, clean and with the oak skirting boards and door jambs etc - the location was stupendous and we had probably the best room in the hotel for the view - the room was both spacious and comfortable and kept spotlessly clean - many of the staff were young but very professional and polite - the hotel itself was very quirky in its layout but we kind of liked that - the food we had at t-he hotel was OK nothing really to complain about but also nothing exceptional - the cullen skink however was delicious - however if we stay here again we will be mindful of the c

  I stayed in 'Corbett' room which includes an en suite sauna in your bathroom and breathtaking views as your balcony is literally feet away from the loch. The stunning Scenery and how big the room was amazed me. I paid £76 for our stay and couldn't have been happier with value for money. (Make sure you stay in Corbett room as the othe - The room was fantastic, balcony had beautiful sights of loch lomond. We stayed in room 67 in the building behind the main facility and couldnt recommend it more. We got a great deal (£66 booked on the same day - spur of the moment stop-over), the room had a personal sauna, the restaurant was absolute quality and worth the £80 we paid for 3 courses. The hotel also had a decent pool, sauna, steam room etc. Will definitely strive to go back in the near feature.

  Excellent value for money. Room was small and basic but also clean and comfortable exactly what we needed. Restraunt and bar facilities have recently been refurbished to a very high standard. Full Scottish breakfast served with tea or coffee was excellent and a massive portion.
