  We had dinner in the Royal Hotel Restaurant. it was very enjoyable good steak and the wine wasfirst class. - The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel was a perfect location for our stay. We found our room to be spacious and the view of the river was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

  The cottage was stunning, views were amazing, very close to Llangollen, clean, well equipped and great value for money. Me and the Mrs went to watch the downhill race, was perfect for it. - The views were fantastic, cottage was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Close enough to the village but far enough away, and fantastic surroundings!

  This very old pub is in the centre of town, and the hosts are very helpful and friendly. I was upgraded to the top room in the building because it was Sunday and the lounge was closed on that day, so if you are looking for an extra large room, that was it, as it had a large bedroom, double bed, entry hall and large separate lounge room. The pub has private free parking. - The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, complete with an enormous flat-screen tv. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant served delicious and interesting food. Gales is centrally located in the town of Llangollen, which is incredibly charming, with plenty of opportunities for hiking nearby. Great overall experience.

Definitely stay again - Beth sent explicit instructions on how to get to the B&B when we booked, just as well as it would be a bit hard to find otherwise. However once you get there it is certainly worth it. We stayed in the annex which was both comfy and we'll appointed. The freshly squeezed apple juice from their own trees was fantastic. Very accommodating hosts.
