  The Cambrian is right in the middle of Llangollen...a 2 min walk from the main street. It has its own secure car park. The owner was helpful and friendly and breakfast was good. OK the decor is a bid dated but NOT tatty/grubby, it's no boutique hotel but that was of no concern to me! The whole place is very clean and the bed was comfy.   We had dinner in the Royal Hotel Restaurant. it was very enjoyable good steak and the wine wasfirst class. - The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel was a perfect location for our stay. We found our room to be spacious and the view of the river was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

The double rooms have a lovely balcony looking out to the river it is lovely.   I can't say enough nice things about this place. I got a virus on my first day so spent more time than intended in the accommodation. Great facillities; lounge with books and games, kitchen with free tea, coffee & condiments as well as space to store own food. Helpful and friendly staff. Lovely rooms.
