  For my summer holiday this year I decided to leave the passport at home and opt for a touring holiday, specifically the Pembrokeshire and Carmathenshire coasts. The first half of our journey we thought Laugharne would be a central location so we opted for Browns hotel. Having read bold claims about the quality of this hotel I was skeptical as to w... hva folk sier » hether this would live up to expectations, but it did and greatly surpassed them. The staff are friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Cleanliness - Everything! This is a wonderful hotel. Standards are really high. The hotel is in a lovely little village, made famous by Dylan Thomas who lived there. Our room was in a new wing, on the site of the old ballroom. It was absolutely perfect. Wi-Fi in the room, HD TV, really comfortable double bed and a great shower. Tea and coffee making facilities included real coffee and a plunger coffee pot. Food in the bar was great and breakfast exceptional! Highly recommended!
