  A really superb location, decent but cheap breakfast, really clean and appears well managed. I would definitely recommend it to others if you are not hoping for anything too fancy.   When I arrived my room wasn't ready yet but stuff was very helpful and gave me another room which was even bigger than the one i've booked. The room was very clean and everything inside is quite new.   All members of staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They all appeared to be trying to make sure everything was perfect for us. We cannot praise them enough!   We stayed on three occasions for a total of eleven nights during June & July 2013. The hotel is situated in a "business area" with the popular Borough Market nearby. It is within walking distance of the underground and many of London's tourist attractions. We always felt safe walking in the area. Each room we stayed in was different ranging from typical "European" size to larger than what you would e - Great location on the Thames, views of St Paul's , the Gherkin and The Shard. Staff exceptionally friendly and happy. The comfiest bed ive ever slept in, much better than the 5 star knightsbridge hotel we stayed in earlier in year! Great breakfast in the Anchor pub next door. Breakfast room upstairs with river & terrace views . Lots to do in area, took the river boat down to the Eye (you can also walk this in 15- 20mins) then 10 mins on foot to Horseguards parade and onto Trafalgar Square.

  We had a fantastic week in St. Cristopher Village. The hostel is in a very central position and it's very simple to move, furthermore the area is not completely dead at night, as it seems for the most of the City, and if your on holiday that matters. We found out that the hostel was surprisingly clean, even though it's completely administered by... hva folk sier » people with less than 30-35 years. We read about dirty everywhere, noise allnight long and rooms with not enough space to move, but we found none of - Helpful and friendly staff, clean room, very simple but good breakfast, great atmosphere. 15 minutes on foot from Big Ben, Tower Bridge and The Tower (however, we walk quite fast so it can take app. 20-25 min.). Underground station "London Bridge" 3 minutes from the hostel. Free internet access (well-working). £35 for one person for two nights in the last weekend of April in London is in my opinion really good price.

Breakfast was good, cereal, toast, juice and tea and coffee as much as you'd like. There was stairs but we didn't mind. We arrived at 10am and our room had already been cleaned so we were told to go straight in. Lovely. Would stay here again
