  The location of the hotel was convenient to where I had to be the next day for a conference. I loved the site - by the river with wonderful views (especially at night), The hotel building was lovely - very attractive/welcoming exterior, wonderful interior design - very different and homely at the same time. All staff I met were polite, helpful a... hva folk sier » nd seemed focussed on making the whole stay experience one to remember. My room on the 7th floor was wonderful - beautifully and thoughtfully furnishe - Every hotel has it's own personality but share a common set of standards and values... all very high. I like the wine list... Manchester had a special wine list which I would have liked to see in Newcastle. Young but not 'trendy'. The staff seem happy to be there!

Needed to stay longer to really enjoy stay as 2 nights were not enough. Owner very helpful and felt sorry for her that some guests had, inexcusably, caused some damage to the property.   Bar and reception is lovely and open! Rooms have ample room and clean bathrooms air con/ heating tea and coffee. Extra pillows already in the room beds were really comfy! We were there bank holiday weekend so it was a busy hotel which gave it more atmosphere for a young group of friends was good fun! Parking; you are able to park on the main road outside the hotel after 6:30pm there are 2 car parks for parking prior to this but we che - We booked our room on 26 March for 2 nights 10 / 11 April through letsbookhotel.com. Despite a misunderstanding between letsbookhotel.com and the hotel which we only discovered on the morning of 10 April, our booking was honored and confirmed prior to arrival. Our B&B package was great value for money and we had a lovely view over the Tyne into the bargain! We would gladly recommend this hotel & package to friends & family. Great service, good food & immaculate accommodation.

  After reading some other reviews we were a little worried about our stay. We have to say that our stay was excellent, our room was spotless and comfortable, the tv signal was the best I have ever had in a hotel great for listening to the radio in the morning and relazing after a busy day. The breakfast was really good plenty of it and hot with a s... hva folk sier » election of everything you could want and as a vegetarian I do not often say this. The staff were excellent for the most part they all smiled, the bar - I liked the fact that it was a new hotel and reasonably priced. As we travelled as a family it was good that we were put on the top floor away from noisier guests. We did have to ask for bedding for my son to sleep on the sofabed as this wasn't supplied, but this was resolved very quickly - staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. When bedding was delivered the guy asked if he could help putting it on the bed, which was very kind (sorry don't know his name). I have already recommended
