  Hinsley Hall is an oasis of calm, surprisingly close to the bustling city centre of Leeds. The rooms tend to be basic but then again why pay for luxury when all that's needed is a comfortable bedroom? The en suite was perfect, and the breakfast--full English if desired, all you can eat, cafeteria style service included--was excellent, and served b... hva folk sier » y friendly, cheerful staff in a beautiful dining hall. It was a delightful bonus to discover the place is also used as a Christian retreat centre, wit - Lovely, double-aspected and warm room with v comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful and informative staff. Kitchenette supplies - nice to have a mug! - though would have liked to have been able to make myself an early morning cup of tea to have in bed without having to get dressed and walk a bit of a distance down the corridor! Good-sized towels. The fact that there wasn't a television! Great choice of different fruits/fruit prep for breakfast. Easy parking.
