  Manager's response to our initial reaction.We had travelled over 300 miles and just wanted a nice place to recover so we were pretty grumpy. The rooms were spotless, an extra heater was provided and we enjoyed a good night. Breakfast was freshly prepared. We would stay there again. - The room was very spacious and comfortable, the decor was also very good. Despite the village of Heswall having no water all day due to a burst pipe locally, the staff and manager did everything they could to make the stay as seamless as possible It's a little gem of a find for me and I would highly recommend The 'Jug'
