  Good clean accomodation in a spacious room, good shower pressure, comfy bed. We stayed for the one night as a place to get some sleep as we travelled down south, room had all we needed for the night. Plenty of parking available. Lady on reception was very friendly and ponited us in the direction for some places for dinner. Deals available on break... hva folk sier » fast. - 1.   Our daughter (20 months) would not settle and the staff kindly heated a bottle of milk (after midnight) and gave me a separate room to go with her so my husband could sleep before driving in the morning. They really were so accommodating and went beyond what most other hotels would ever do. We could not fault them in their friendliness or service.... hva folk sier » - A really lovely find, not expected to be so good as the price was quite reasonable. They laid on a mini bus for us to go into the city to watch Bruce Springsteen and all the staff were so friendly, we'd come back and stay here if we were visiting the area again!

Well designed in terms of environmental concerns, the littleblue light in the bathroom was a great idea as I like to leave a lighton when staying in a "strange" room in case I need to get up in thenight. The loaction is also 2 minutes from the M74 motorway - excellent choice for an overnight stop.

  We were attending the Hamilton Races and required a reasonably prices hotel for 1 night. The Clydesdale Hotel is 15mins walk from the Racecourse and I would recommend it for racegoers and would stay there again.   as we didnt arrive till later on on the saturday nite we liked that we didnt have to check out till 12 pm instead of 11 am. We will most definately be visiting again soon. - buffet breakfast was really good and hotel handy for motorway. friendly staff who could speak and understand english unlike a lot of hotels in the UK

The location is excellent, being in a large park area with lots of walks etc. It's location Meir a busy intersection of the highway means that you need to ask for a room not facing the road .   This is the second time in a month that myself and girlfriend have spent the weekend at the Alona. As usual on arrival we are greated with cheeery and very smart recepionist and a glass of wine of course. The checkin was over in minute and our room again was immaculate.
