  The owners and their staff were incredibly warm and friendly (but also very professional) and also very helpful to us, without being intrusive. The hotel has the warmth and cosiness of a b&b, but the facilities of a good standard hotel. As has already been said by some other reviewers, you are treated like a mixture between an old friend and royalty. The location is - I have stayed in many B&B / Hotels over the years and this one is a real find! The staff are a real team and are so kind and helpful - looking for ways to ensure that your needs are met. The food was excellent (both breakfasts and dinners); the lounge and bar area very comfortable; and the room very clean and comfortable (but note this isn't a town-hotel where every room is the same - furniture and facilities have to be squeezed into odd places).   We liked the friendly hosts and the attractive and well appointed house. We were offered a drink and snack on arrival and were given fresh milk for our teas and coffee in our room. The views are very pleasant and the location convenient for the main road but nice and quiet. The food was good and the water was hot.
