  The attentiveness of the owners was lovely, nothing was too much trouble also very helpful with suggestions of how to spend our time there and even lent us map books. What was an excellent surprise too was the food, best scallops I have tasted in years, just cooked to perfection. Also highly recommend the chicken stuffed with haggis, just delic... hva folk sier » ious. Location was also so peaceful with lovely views of the Loch and so much better than staying in Fort Augustus, which is definitely worth a visit - I liked the location very much. It's situated at the end of a small road with a magnificent view of the loch. Close by is the Foyers Falls which have a nice trail close to the hotel. To stay at Foyers bay country house is like staying at someone's home. If you prefer anonymity and to sit by your self. Don't go here. If you like to chat with the owner and play with his dog, this is the place.

  It was so peaceful and quiet. The food was excellent and the hosts very friendly and welcoming. It was the perfect quiet 'get away' place to stay. - Fantastic location and views. Proprietors most welcoming. Food good. Facilities fine. We had a marvellous stay and would love to return.
