  Room was clean, fresh, and really comfortable. Hotel is ideally situated as there is a lot going on locally. We loved the garden centre and the steam train, they are both in the country park just around the corner from the hotel. Recommend the breakfast at the restaurant next door, lovely fresh food, all looked and tasted fabulous. Staff friendly ... hva folk sier » and helpful too. - Very welcoming staff, keen to offer help as needed. We arrived early and the receptionist 're-jigged' the rooms so that we could leave our things and freshen up in one that was ready before meeting our friends.
