  Beautiful, historic setting. Most interesting collection of paintings to look at as you make your way to breakfast. Very helpful, professional staff. Found the Castle totally absorbing. The Guide Book covered the entire history of the Castle over many years. I knew of the Anne Boleyn connection, but not that of the Astor family. The gardens were v... hva folk sier » ast and very well tended and the Gift Shop and Restaurant were very tasteful. We had no particular expectation but were totally delighted with the who - It is a wonderful place in a beautiful location! You are made to fill important throughout your stay & nothing is to much trouble. Caroline made us feel welcome prior to arrival my answering questions via e mail. A lovely, relaxing weekend & the Castle & Grounds are stunning which when encompassed with the 5 Star Accommodation makes Hever almost impossible to beat! We will certainly be back in Summer when we can see the Gardens in their full glory! Steve & Nicky
