This is a lovely, quiet location, but not too far off the beaten track.It is very comfortable, with lots of spacious lounge areas. The qualityand choice of breakfast is as good as we've encountered anywhere anddinner was also excellent. The owners and staff are very friendly andhelpful, without being intrusive. ... hva folk sier » ly touch, especially on very wet days. - the personal touch from the owners was excellent.it felt as if we where guests in their own home.the copmplimentary afternoontea and cakes was such a lovely touch.they found out it was my husbands birthday and tim (the propietor )personally wished him a happy birthday and a birthday card from all the staff was on ourdinner table that night!!!!

I thought this place was wonderful one could moan about the traffic noise and the noise from rooms above but that's something to take up at the time. The service was so good nothing was to much trouble the staff where excellent , food great, local venison out of this world and above all the management really cared well done and see you soon. Been

We loved the place, fantastic countryside setting. A very good Menu selection. Staff very helpul, friendly & polite. Arran Room which we stayed in was very beautifully furnished, with a king size bed. A very good night sleep and no sound from other guests. Hope to stay again on a weekend break. Thank you

What a wonderful find, everyone made us feel very welcome. Recently refurbished to a very high standard last year and maintained to make it feel like it has only just been finished. All very clean. Breakfast was excellent, and a real must to dine in for dinner, as food was top quality, a must destination just for dinner. -
