I asked for a ground floor room when I booked. However, Jan contacted me almost straight away to say that there was no ground floor rooms and no lift, so my wife would have to go up a staircase. I thought it was a very nice thing to do (pre-warned etc). Hotel car park was full, but there was ample street parking. We were warmly greeted by Jan and her husband (Mick?) and shown to our room. The room was perfectly adequate with freeview tv, free wi-fi and plenty of tea/coffee/sugar/milk. The prom.
alle vurderinger » We loved everything about the hotel. The owner was very friendly and helpful and it was the most dog friendly hotel we have ever stayed in. The room was clean, comfy and spacious enough for our dog. Although the hotel was full, there was no noise, in fact we thought it was quite empty. the car park is small but there is plenty of parking on the road next to the hotel. We will definitely return. I took my dog with me and the staff treated her as part of the family. We were able to bring the dog down to breakfast in a seperate area from óther guests and they made the dog a sausage. They also allowed the dog to be kept inn the room while we went out. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean and well kept. I really enjoyed my stay, every one was friendly and the hotel was great value for money. Fully recommend the beds which are so comfortable and breakfast very good as well. Will be staying again when business allows. Super value for money. Very friendly owners. Food excellent and very clean. Local knowledge from the owners was very welcome, as was the availability of public transport with buses regularly linking up with Rhyl, Llandudno and Conwy just outside the hotel. Lovely hotel for a 2 star should be more. Room nice and clean. Nice to see a dog friendly hotel and also a smoking room available. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. West Point was ideal for us as we had our dog with us and she was treated as a guest(had her own breakfast of and was allowed to stay in the bedroom with us) Many thanks to Jan & Mick. The staff were very accommodating and nice. They helped in every way, including offering to launder our clothes and providing for our 13 month old baby. The breakfasts were also very good. Jan and Mick are very welcoming and were happy to help with any query. We were made to feel at ease during the whole of our stay. Stunning red brick property in a peaceful location. the cleanest b+b,we have stayed in.lovely,friendly owners and staff.very quiet.excellent breakfast.Would recommend to anyone.will definitely head for here when in north wales. Had a lovely family room at The Westpoint ... very clean and comfortable. Staff were super-friendly and helpful. Great location too, just a 5 minute walk from the promenade. Very friendly host and hostess, who did everything they could to make you feel welcome. Bedroom was spotless as was the bathroom. Breakfast was one of the best we've had. The lady who greet us was very friendly and a warm welcoming . We only stayed the one night but would wish we could of stayed longer it was that nice and welcoming . Friendly staff - owners, clean spacious comfortable rooms, private parking, nice town and surrounding area - a lot of places to visit...a good place to stay. Despite having the heating on the room was extremely cold in temperature. The accommodation was a little dated decor wise. Anyone with mobility issues would struggle as there is no lift and stairs had to be encountered. N. A. Nothing 110 / happy :). no bar. There was nothing I didn't like, I was visiting family close by and it was the perfect base. nothing. Nothing. I cannot think of any adverse comments about the west point. Nothing. Nothing. The window in my room rattled all night, Maybe better curtain to blook out street lights. the shower...poor flow rate broken window glass in the room cheap n nasty shower gel no shampoo. Nothing not to like. bed a bit lumpy. No fruit or yoghurt and a very limited choice of cereals at breakfast,. my husband did not find the bed comfortable. man who welcome us (very off) Tv so small, shower very poor, somthing on floor ?. no bar or ground floor rooms available we wanted to stay nearer rhyll. No access to a lounge, more a b & Bethan a hotel. Room cold. Very thin curtains. no lounge available although there was a room labelled lounge. No hooks in bathroom. Bit faded and could really do with a complete revamp if the money was available but that would be costly and probably not cost effective. quite obsolete, would benefit from a renovation. Breakfast not very rich.
