  A very welcoming hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff ( every member) Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Room very clean, good facilities, fantastic standard of food and service in restaurant was fabulous. Nothing too much trouble. Even though a wedding was being catered for it had no impact on the standard of service to us in fact it felt even be... hva folk sier » tter. Would definitely return and recommend to others. Very good value for money. - I always read reviews before booking, and I had a most enjoyable stay at a really friendly and quirky hotel, where the staff I met and dealt with were helpful, and very eager too please. I found it strange that previous reviews complained about there being no lift, and that their rooms were some way from reception - well it states that on the information page on this really interesting hotel.

  The couple at Mardon House were brilliant people, they were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. They were really helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Our room was outstanding and worth every penny. - The room was excellent, the owners were lovely, and the full english breakfast was to die for.
