Lovely old-fashioned manor house, very large rooms (particularlybathroom!), very helpful staff and excellent restaurant. Very wellsituated for overnight stay going to East Midlands airport. - the hotel has a lot of history this is reflected in some of the decor.Our room was very comfy (and very big) we loved it and will be staying there again.

comfortable friendly and homely hotel, staff very warm and friendly. food was well prepared and presented. all together an enjoyable experience. our room was clean and very comfortable with all we needed. -
We were there as Wedding Guests. The room we had in the Stable Building was comfortable and overlooked the countryside.

When I arrived it was a bit far out from nottingham as my grandchildren
where going to a concert and the lady behind the desk tryed to move us
nearer but it was full they were lovely and friendly so I was more than
happy we stayed there -
The staff were friendly, the restaurant was good value for money. Also
used the car park - at £5 per day, was
