The manager was polite, friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was extremely good and freshly cooked. Room very clean, too. I ll reccommed it and stay again if visiting Brighton, even with friends.

Staff were generally friendly. The room was very 'homely' even though it was obviously a very old building. Was cosy at night. The area wasn't too noisy even though it was on the beach. Very pleased with my stay, already planning to stay here again when me and my friend next visit Brighton.

I thought it would be awful based on the reviews here but was so
pleasently suprised. The staff were great. The rooms are budget
accomadation with far better facilities than a hostel. You get your own
toilet and shower, tv, towels, full length mirror and tea facilities.
For the price they charge you are really getting a bargain. I would stay

We got what we paid for which was a room with a television, tea/coffee facilities, comfortable beds and a en-suite bathroom with a decent shower.
The hotel was near the seafront so not far to walk to find somewhere to eat and drink.
