cleaningness, staff. very friedly host, wonderful breakfast- Sehr Gut!. The staff were freindly and helpful. We liked the proximity to the resort. Having read the other reviews after booking, we were a little worried but the hotel turned out to be fine. I would certainly not like to be paying premium rates, but the cost was fine for us. Too many people expect to pay budget rates, then complain if the hotel isn't 3-5 star. alle vurderinger »
Very convenient to the seafront and the laines!. Location. The location doesn't overlook the sea but it is very near the sea as well as being very near to the shops/cafés etc. It is not a far distance from the Pier/the Lanes or the Pavillon. The street that it is on is actually quite quiet. The staff was very helpfull. great location. Comfortable room, near to the beach. location very near to the seafront. breakfast. Good position next to the center of Brighton. Reasonable price. The location, it was close to all the amenities. proximity to town centre. good location. It was comfortable, that is about all, the whole place needs drasticrefurbishment. The location and it was clean. To be honest it is not the best place in the world but than again I knewthat it was only £60 a night and knew what I would get.that it was close to the town. location. The location was good for where we were visiting, but other than thatthere was nothing particularly good. nothing. The most expensive and by far the worst value for money.Extremely disappointed. It was close to the beach. Location of the hotel. It was quiet. Central convenient location. SIZE of room. Nothing. Actually, I think you should not advertise this hotel at all if you value your image. It is a hotel for animals, not for human beings!. The only good thing about the hotel is that it is so close to everything. been out of the hotel. Not much........ With the minimum of expense, the owners could remove minor irritations, such as slipping shower holder, moving headboard, smelly toilet, etc. It's tough only having 2 WC's to share for 8 rooms. Can this not be remedied? But I'm not going to quibble at that price. The guys running the hotel were great, although I do feel sorry for them because I bet they get a torrent of complaints!. Shared toilet but beggars can't be choosers!. Small room, no parking. The room was cold - although we didn't complain about it, so I don't know if there was anything that could have been done about it. The toilet brushes in the hotel were filthy. There are only two toilets for the all of the rooms which is not ideal. No remote control for the T.V!!. Haveing to share the toilet with other rooms. value for money, but shared toilets. shower in the room. Steep stairs.Uncomfortable Toilet.Breakfast wasn't good. The shower cubicle and basin could have been cordened off.room was not ensuite as described, breakfast was poor, no choice of breakfast. poor breakfast, only 2 shared toilets in the guest house, and not particularly good value for money. breakfast was sparse rooms small hotelier inflexible. smelt of blocked drains. The toilet facilities left a lot to be desired, the room was not cleanedor tidied up on the monday, there was no one available to take the keywhen I checked out, and breakfast did not start until 0830, which wastoo late for me, the doors did not fit properly allowing light form thelanding to filter through. The tea making facilities were notreplenished during my stay. The breakfast was small, the service was poor and they'd run out of some of the ingredients, there was no cereal, no top up of tea , coffee or toast and no baked beans. It was noisy, they need to get double glazing. The Water in my shower wasn't cold wasn't hot . The toilet was boiling.. they need to turn the heating off in there. shower didnt work in room and wasnt offerd a room change!. One shared toilet for all the rooms on a different floor to the bedroom;no parking within 2 streets of the hotel;. The rude man who signed us in and cooked the breakfast. It didn't have an ensuite as requested. The shower had a broken door and was in the corner of the bedroom. The toilet was shared and on a landing. No chair to sit on only the bed.Breakfast very meagre compared to all the others we've had during our stay.Room was in an attic difficult to stand up straight near the bed.Parking streets away 20minute walk. The bed squeked really bad. The toilet was downstairs and very hot as the rad was not turned off. No toilet in the room; the toilet shared by too many rooms; shower inthe room improvisated; bottom sheet not ironed; dirty room; my creditcard was charged withaut of my signature and when I asked for the bill Ididn't get it!!!. Food was poor and not much of it, certainly not a full english breakfast. The mattress needed replacing years ago. The cleaning was not of a good standard and the tea, coffee, milk sugar was not replaced during our stay. It's described as en-suite. However there is just a shower cubicle in each room that when used soaks the whole room.Room not clean, bed sloped downwards and was lumpy, toilet not in room but down a corridor. 1. Poor cleanliness 2. Inadequate toilet facilities and insufficient space in breakfast room. 3. Very limited breakfast choice (choice of 1 cereal if not having cooked 4. One staff member each day - not all helpful 5. First time in several years visits we are complaining to hotel. The shower was in the bedroom, sticked to the bed, near the pilow. The lavatory was also in the bedroom. The toilet was a shared toilet, on the hall. All of these should have been signaled in your add. The money is retained at the time of reservation, so you actually pay in full with months in advance! I could not check out sooner, and I was denied an invoice/receipt for the money I paid. The bed was uncomfortable and made so much noise everytime you moved. The pillows were thin and lumpy. The shower in the room had rusty spots, the light switches were outside. The toilets were located at the verytop of the hotel and at the bottom. And the kettle didnt work. The mounds of rotting rubbish that the seaguls were attracted to outside the hotel - and also the fact that our window wouldn't shut so we had to be woken up at 5am by squawking seaguls. The confined, un-ventilated toilet that was covered in feces was a problem too, we very nearly left because of this point. The hotel room, although it was large was quite dusty and dirty.
