My room was very nice - included a hair dryer, iron, ironing board, etc. It was a single room with a single bed - exactly what I needed - no space wasted.   Lovely large room with huge bathroom, the freestanding bath was a really nice feature, the only problem being inadequate lighting in the bedroom area - lovely lamps etc but I couldn't see what I was getting out of my case properly!!. Yes, the stairs are a bit of a nightmare (certainly get you puffing), but they wouldn't stop me staying here again... hva folk sier » . Location is great and a good selection to choose from at breakfast - service was a bit haphazard but the food was really nice. We stayed for 2 night - very impressed with johnathon the manager he no's his trade, the breakfast waitress very proffessional and helpful and breakfast very nice and plenty to start you off for the day, the room very nice and comfortable. thankyou very much to the manager johnathon,sally and staff. i would definatly recomend youre hotel to friends and family

  The hotel was full of character and well thought out. The staff were unbelievably helpful and nothing was too much trouble... they even dried our swimmers for us on our last day! My wife is an outpatient at this hospital, and disabled. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful.   We cannot recommend the Tasburgh highly enough! Sue, the proprieter, is the most genuinely caring person and was so helpful to us throughout our stay. We stayed there over our wedding weekend and Sue and Toni were both generous with their time and support for us. The hotel itself is clean and good looking, the grounds very lovely indeed.
