  The Owner greeted us on our very late arrival, I rand to inform them we would be late and they offered to put a meal to oneside for our arrival. I had ordered flowers in the room and the bouquet was superb and good value for money.. the staff were professional yet still very friendly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect - Fri... hva folk sier » endly and helpful staff in a superb location. The inn was spotlessly clean, comfortable and made for a great overnight stay. The breakfast was more than ample and meals were delicious. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this to anyone wanting fantastic accommodation at a reasonable price.

  The room was fantastic and we loved having a patio door. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The pool facilities were great and very accomodating with free towels and lovely jaccuzi.the breakfast in the morning had an excellent choice to suit everyone. - Rooms were a nice size and the evening meal in the resturant wasvery good.

  The manager at the granary was fantastic. He was very accomadating and went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay. The room was very comfy and cosy and nicely decorated. The little extras like the toiletries in the bathroom were lovely and the cooked breakfast was very nice. Thankyou John for a lovely stay (and for the lift into town whe... hva folk sier » n our car broke down!) All sorted now and we got home safe. - Cosy,warm rustic rooms having been converted from cowsheds. Friendly staff especially John Freestone who has led an interesting life as a hotelier and is an expert on South African wines. Thanks John for showing us the Platters guide on SA wines.

  We were attending a wedding anniversary tea party held at the hotel. Rather than travel home afterwards we had booked to stay for the night. The whole experience (reception, staff attention, room, tea and bar supper) were excellent and, although one would always like prices to be cheaper, good value for money. As our stay was short and for a sp... hva folk sier » ecific purpose (our own convenience) we were not able to make an assessment of all the facilities either in house or in the surrounding area that are - Room was lovely, clean and comfy. Although we didn't have afternoon tea it looked delicious, especially liked the children's version. Food in the bar available all day and came quickly, we had sandwiches and they were freshly made, and we enjoyed them with a glass or two of wine!! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, our every request was met with a smile.
