  Really comfortable family run hotel, room spacious and clean. Food was great for breakfast and evening meal and reasonably priced. Ideal hotel to stay if travelling around North Scotland or going to Orkney as close to ferry terminals.Staff welcoming and helpful.Would definitely stay again. - Close to town centre.   staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly- really made us feel welcome and like it was our home. beds were exceptionally comfortable too- and loved listening to sea from our bedroom window. really cosy with fires lit- and able to control heating in bedroom - arckergill is a truly wonderful place.
