  We were made to feel very welcome on arrival at reception. The receptionist was cheerful, friendly and couldn't have been more helpful.   I liked the whole experience of staying at the Piersland. We received a warm welcome and were shown to the most beautiful room which had a wonderful bathroom almost as big as the room. The welcome in the dining room was equally as good and the food and wine were excellent. We will certainly be going back and making sure our friends know about it. - I was at a wedding at a nearby hotel and did not have the opportunity to sample all of the Piersland's facilities. However I did find the staff and bar service first class. The room was the lodge/cottage to the left. My partner and I were very pleasantly surprised by the comfort and layout. Room service breakfast was more than sufficient.
