  We stayed for one night on our way to Bristol airport.The house is beautiful with super old beams & some very nice pieces of antique furniture.Breakfast is a do it yourself job (in the spotless kitchen ) which suited us fine as we were leaving very early in the morning for our flight so actually didn't bother except tea.Could not be more conve... hva folk sier » nient for the airport - 5 minutes drive away.Thank you Johan, we will be back !!! Paul & Linda Garwood - The house has been newly renovated. We were the first people to stay in our room! Johan was very helpful, and explained things very well. The house is a bit of a maze and you needed a tour guide to find your room ;-) Private parking at the back of the house. There looked to be great views over the mendips, but we couldn't really get the full benefit due to pouring rain!

  Stayed here on the way to Glastonbury festival last week, ideal location about 40mins away from site. axebridge is lovely little village with everything you need in one square, ideal hotel, clean and faultless! More importantly the staff went above and beyond for us, the girls at reception were really helpful (sorry didn't take their names), even ... hva folk sier » helping us with directions for the following day, was handy havin a local's point of view! Seriously can't stress how impressed we were with this plac - This B & B is lovely. The staff and food make this place shine. The design/decor is tasteful and compliments the age and style of the building. The restaurant food is complex, tasty and although portions sizes are small, because of the richness in the food it is sure to fill you up! The wine list is very reasonable and there is a good selection of wines to choose from. We would defiantly stay here again and recommend it to our friends.
