    The staff were excellent. The owner was gracious, friendly, and informative. Yusef, the driver/guide for guesthouse tours and local trips was wonderful. He was friendly, funny, and a font of information in various languages. I usually avoid guided tours like the plague, but I would suggest considering theirs.     I like the feeling of beeing in a private house where everything is cared for by the owner or caretaker in a personal way. As a single traveler it's an advantage to stay in a Konak. Limited rooms, and the guests staying like to speak to other guests, which creates a good atmosphere. Asude Konak is this kind of place. It was nice to stay in a traditional house and actually get to interact with the owners. I really felt like we were welcomed as guests of the family and not just transient guests.
