  An absolute gem of a hotel, situated a few steps from the shore of Lake Zug, and right in the middle of the wonderful Medieval old town. Staff are so kind and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Heavenly. Breakfast was plentiful and served in a pleasant environment. - Service was amazing--especially the woman at the front desk and the woman who helped with breakfast. They let me borrow an electric outlet adaptor at no charge for the duration of my stay. Love the virtually lakeside location. Rooms were also well-appointed, attractively modern, and clean. LOVED the comforter and mattress. Last but not least, the chocolate syrup cake at the restaurant on the ground floor was possibly the best dessert I've had in Europe.

  The location is about 10 mins from Lucerne main train station, easily found. I stayed in a private three-bed room which was beond expectation. From the review I learnt that the 3-bed room will have one king-size bed and a single bed on top it so the third person will need to climb to sleep, but my room was quite large, with the single bed not hang... hva folk sier » ing on top of the king-size bed. The bathroom was big enough, door was not transparent as reviewed previously and can be locked from inside. Bed sheet - It is really good value for money in Switzerland! Moreover it is not so far from main sightseenigs. The rooms have air conditions, tv and wifi. Staff is very friendly and helpful! Everything is the same as you can see from the hotel's pictures. Many people wrote that rooms were small and it's inconvenient. I think that for 1-3 nights it's ok. It is a place to spend nights because the rest of the time you will walk around this wonderful city - Luzern!
