  The staff was very friendly and nice, even though there was a small mix up regarding whether we were staying in Lucerne or Zurich. When we arrived, they came quickly to meet us at the apartment. The apartment is a very short walk away to main train station and the Bahnhofstrasse, and is located in the middle of the Niederdorf area. Tons of bars and restaurants nearby. The apartment was very clean (I would expect nothing less in Switzerland!) and the staff was on time in meeting us to give us the key. There is no front desk and no on-site parking, but the staff is accessible via phone and there

  The rooms were reasonably sized. We could keep and open 2 big bags while having enough space to walk. The kitchen was very small but it was fine as we cooked for our kids only. The hotel and rooms were clean. For the price and location, it was a good place. The staff was very courteous and helpful and this place is about 2 tram stops on tram 10 or... hva folk sier » 10 mins walk from Zurich train station. - The Astor is a short tram ride (uphill) from the train station - take #7 towards the zoo and get off at the first stop once the tram turns uphill after crossing the river. The unit we had has a small kitchen that was very handy. The beds are comfortable and the rooms on the back side of the hotel are very quiet. There is a free laundry machine! We absolutely loved our stay here.

  Everything! I travel quite often and this is a gem! Room was small, but very clean, well organized, super comfy bed/pillows, nice bathroom with shower - and sparkling clean, and small balcony (would be nice in the summer). Well known bakery right next door & another restaurant down the street. Kitchens on every flo - Very clean and comfortable, close to the town centre and the staff were always friendly and helpful. My room was bigger than expected and I was the only person using the shared bathroom on my floor. I liked that a generous breakfast was included in the (already very reasonable) price and that there was a computer with internet access on the ground floor for guest use.   The hotel is very quaint and is located perfectly near main train station and old city. If you are looking for a conventional hotel and all it's amenities then Helvetia not for you. You can also come right to the hotel form airp - Cozy and clean apartments. Very simple check-in procedure. Apartments are equipped with everythig you need. Exellent location. Only two tram stops from Zurich Hauptbahnhof, stop for tram #10 which goes to airport is in ten meters from building, supermarket coop is opposite building, a lot of cafes and restaurants around, only 10 minutes walking to the old city and Zurich lake.
