  A charming period building in a very good area, within 15 min walking distance to central Zurich; very nicely appointed rooms -- although the single room is a bit small, bathroom spotlessly clean.   The location of the hotel is excellent! The rooms may be small, but they have everything you need. Even though you share a bathroom, everything is kept very clean. The fresh bread at breakfast was delicious. I also enjoyed the very good cup of coffee each morning. The staff were excellent and also very professional. But with earplugs, this is not a major issue. - Room very beautiful. I was surprised by the elegance and the cleanliness, not to mention the superb peculiarity of each room.   Everything! It is a fab little hotel, I would highly reccommend it. Especially the junior suite. It is perfect for romantic breaks! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.   Everything! I travel quite often and this is a gem! Room was small, but very clean, well organized, super comfy bed/pillows, nice bathroom with shower - and sparkling clean, and small balcony (would be nice in the summer). Staff were also very friendly & helpful! Is right near the 8/3 trams, the 3 takes you straight to the main train station -... hva folk sier » and in the city center with the 8 in about 10 mins. Well known bakery right next door & another restaurant down the street. Kitchens on every flo - Very clean and comfortable, close to the town centre and the staff were always friendly and helpful. My room was bigger than expected and I was the only person using the shared bathroom on my floor. I liked that a generous breakfast was included in the (already very reasonable) price and that there was a computer with internet access on the ground floor for guest use. There was even a printer with it, making me think the hotel has really thought about what travellers might need. The art gallery

The breakfast was good and restaurant offer a good meal during evening such as fajitas and Burger, if I visit Zurich again California Hotel will be my choice definitely.
