  We stayed for two nights and felt our stay to be one of the best during our 8 days trip to Switzerland. An excellent and well managed family run hotel, which maintains the best standards they can. Very ethical and friendly in dealing with guests. Extremely helpful and courteous. Good location (less than 100 mtrs from the train station and city cen... hva folk sier » tre). Would definitely check-in again whenever we get a chance to be in Grindelwald. - Friendly staff who loaned my wife a pair of gloves when we went up the Jungfrau railway and who made us feel really welcome. Free parking round the back of the hotel. Don't park in the spaces with meters at the bottom of the sloped drive but go up the slope, drop off baggage at the front door and then continue round to the parking spaces at the back.

  The staff/owners were extremely friendly and accommodating, especially helpful with childrens meals and with providing info relating to our stay in Grindelwald. The food and service very good - Hospitality was excellent, location is perfect - near the village but away from any noise. A real find.

  We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and we definately love to recommend this family run hotel to any friends. We were lucky to have a free upgrad to room 303 (superior double room) which had an extremely beautiful, breaktaking view to the village and Eiger mountain. The staff were all very helpful, cheerful & frien - The central and very peaceful location in Grindelwald with wonderful views from the balcony. Breakfast and evening meals were very well presented, and Rita was exceptional in greeting and overseeing everybody's individual requirements, including specialist dietary needs, with confidence and a professional capability in all languages.
