  We loved everything about our stay here. The hotel room, the living areas we were welcome to lounge in, the dining room, all were 100% comfort and charm. The town was tiny, ancient and fascinating. It was central to the vineyards, wineries, beautiful countryside drives and within a few feet of the hotel was the river Ebro and a wonderful river wal... hva folk sier » king trail. Best of all were the lovely ladies who greeted us, cooked, helped us with directions and suggested places to visit. We could have stayed l - Brinas is a very pretty historic village in Rioja and I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel, decorated with murals and antique funiture, to anyone looking for somewhere unique to stay. (once a Palace the property was used as Headquarter of the Italian Troops during the Spanish Civil War.) The staff are very helpful (coming out to our car with an umbella as we arrived during an unbelievable summer storm!!) This was our second visit to this hotel and we were not disappointed.

  A very interesting place - we had a really good giuded tour of the Monastery - the guide kept apologising for her English but it was charming and we understood it very well the meals were excellent in the hotel and the restaurant acrooss the car park - The setting, the tranquility and the general level of service

  Everything from our initial contact with María upon arriving in Haro to when we handed by the keys when leaving was amazing. The apartment was beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and felt like a second home. The location is great as well. We were two minutes from all the best restaurants and bars, close to free parking, and maybe five minutes ... hva folk sier » from a huge supermarket where we were able to get groceries to cook at the apartment. And, it was a quick walk to all the wineries by the train statio - Very nicely appointed apartment right in the middle of Haro, which is a great jumping-off point for visiting La Rioja but itself a quite sleepy town. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and had a washing machine as a bonus. Kitchen was more than adequate and parking was easy.

  We liked everything about the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Dinner was excellent as were the wines.   Loved the art that filled the hotel. Easy and free parking right outside the hotel. Excellent stop over for our drive to San Sebastián. The owner was extremely helpful and gave us an introduction to a local bodega that proved to be an excellent choice. - Food was excellent.
