Wonderful to stay in an historic building but with really high quality features. The breakfasts were incredible, definitely worth having and at €5 were an absolute bargain. Loved the quiet, rural location but with easy access to other gorgeous towns - 35 minute train to San Sebastián from Zumaia was a real bonus. Incredibly helpful staff, making excellent suggestions for restaurants, attractions/towns to visit and driving routes added considerably to our enjoyment

Very high quality building. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were great. Cheap use for laundry / washing machine, close drive to some awesome parks, lakes and mountain townships. Helpful staff and provided useful day trip advise. We liked it so much we stayed an extra two nights. Back rooms have excellent mountain views to enjoy with private terraces. It is very clean and almost new since the owner just repaint the pension.

When we arrived after a long journey, we were so welcomed by Hesther, it felt like being part of her family. We were shown around and the house had a wonderful feeling, especially knowing it dated from 12th century. The views to the mountains were so beautiful, i wish we were staying there longer.The owner was very friendly and made our daughter feel special, cooking something she liked. We fell in love with this place and hope to return one day.
