Wonderful to stay in an historic building but with really high quality features. The breakfasts were incredible, definitely worth having and at €5 were an absolute bargain. Loved the quiet, rural location but with easy access to other gorgeous towns - 35 minute train to San Sebastián from Zumaia was a real bonus. Incredibly helpful staff, making excellent suggestions for restaurants, attractions/towns to visit and driving routes added considerably to our enjoyment

We arrived on Friday late night (around 1:30 am) , the owner was waited for us and make us feel like pleasure and convenience. The suite room we got was beautiful with great view and huge space.
During our all staying Miriam from the reception helped with very useful recommendations and great tips for places to visit and restaurants to eat.

The room was really spacious with a lovely view of the town and countryside. The lady on recpetion was wonderful. The whole place smelled great and there was a lovely communal sitting room. It was a great place for us to spend our first anniversary. Although we only stayed one night, it's in a great location for Bilboa airport and you could easily do a day trip to San Sebastian or into other countryside areas. We just found it really relaxing and a nice welcoming place to stay.

Very high quality building. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were great. Cheap use for laundry / washing machine, close drive to some awesome parks, lakes and mountain townships. Helpful staff and provided useful day trip advise. We liked it so much we stayed an extra two nights. Back rooms have excellent mountain views to enjoy with private terraces. Stunning location in the hills with a distant view of the sea. Went for a morning walk up the road for an even better view of the surrounding area. Accommodation was excellent value, very lovely building and so great to be up in the hills. Buffet breakfast was a lovely surprise. -

Really beautiful and comfortable palace with the surrounding countryside providing the perfect setting. Only 30mins drive to San Sebastián. 45 mins to Bilboa. Everything was just great. Beautifully appointed and decorated hotel. Fabulous large bedroom. Staff were very professional, friendly and helpful.
Restaurant is outstanding. The chef - a charming guy - likes to meet his guests and talk about his dishes and the way he prepares them. The "black" fillet steak is brilliant!!

We had a flat tire while staying at the hotel and the staff was very cooperative about helping us get it changed and taking us to a tire repair shop to get us back on the road. This is my second time at the hotel and the owners were so lovely! I am vegetarian and they took care to prepare me special delicous vegetarian meals everyday! Kepa also showed me the vegetable patch this time. We were also invited to watch as he trimmed the sheep's coats!! The couple are really warm and welcoming.
As always, the place is beautiful, a real gem :) Also renovations have been done so its bigger and nicer.

This place was a highlight. On the main square of Laguardia and deceptively large.
Our superior room on the 2nd floor was big, clean with a huge comfortable bed, super shower and changing room.
On arrival we were given vouchers for a complimentary glass of wine and pintxo in their cellar bar. A nice touch.

It's a beautifull place with nice and helpfull staff. The room was
clean and very comfortable and we loved our bathroom. Very impressive
was the elevator with the glass wall showing the wine cellars. Breakfast
was very tasty - with full range of cheese, ham, jogurt, sweets... The
biggest plus of this hotel is location. There is a magnificent view from
the windows to the vineyards, and the place itself is located under the
picturesque rock.

Though bit pricy its really an amazing spot and hotel. Awesome building, great spacious rooms, good staff. Gourmet restaurant was closed during our stay but the bistro was excellent too. Beautiful terrace to watch the sunset, have to visit the winery too and go for a walk/ cycle around the vineyards. Very nice place. -
