The decor and attention to detail made this a beautifully appointed boutique hotel. it is located right in the center of the quiet village of Begur. The hospitality was fantastic. I drove in late, and the owner of the
hostel offered to make me dinner from the kitchen, even though the
restaurant was almost closed. The menu is fantastic. All the dishes were
excellently prepared, making this a hotel that you don't need to
wander far from. The room itself was comfortable and clean, with a big
shared deck in front (there are only 4 rooms total, so it's still
very peaceful and mellow). My room had a gorgeous view of the ocean as

The setting is idyllic - far from the madding crowds in other parts of the Costa Brava. A tiny cove on the Med with Crystal clear water.
Sa Rascassa is superb - very small but very comfortable and peaceful. Restaurant is wonderful with fresh,simple, local cuisine. Oscar (owner) is a gem . Knowledgeable and generous with his time. Begur seems remote and very private - if you are a party animal
