  Hotel Sa Calma is a gorgeous hotel and we had an extremely relaxing stay there. The staff was excellent and made us feel very welcome our entire stay. They have a chess and a backgammon table in a beautiful sitting area and it was great to see my two older boys having a blast challenging each other in a game of chess upon our arrival.   L'Aixart is a gem of a place that is hard to explain. There are only 4 rooms and they are a little more hostel like than hotel like. Outside of the rooms, this is a great property that has an awesome lounge in a great area of Costa Brava. Since it was low season we had the hotel to ourselves for 2 nights and on the third night another couple arrived. George - The hospitality was fantastic. All the dishes were excellently prepared, making this a hotel that you don't need to wander far from. The room itself was comfortable and clean, with a big shared deck in front (there are only 4 rooms total, so it's still very peaceful and mellow). My room had a gorgeous view of the ocean as well.
