  The staff are very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. My Spanish is very limited but they always took the time to make sure I understood how things worked there. Excellent food&wine in the restaurant, overall great service. The hotel internet service worked very well, always a plus! - Very nice room with air con, small fridge, ... hva folk sier » tv, nice bathroom. I was able to park front of hotel. 2 small dogs with me were free of charge. Breakfast was very nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. About 10 mins drive to ferry.

Santander is in a part of Spain that does not speak English, and being the only one of 3 that speaks high-school spanish, ie, not much, the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure that we knew where we were going and what to do.
