  The hotel was shut. We had no advance notice. We arrived and it was closed, no staff present all locked up. I was not able to read the spanish note on the gate. Luckily the taxi driver remained and helped. He read the notice and drove me to the sister hotel, Cabogata Garden and they were expecting me.   The delightful way we were greeted was lovely. We speak very little Spanish and Senora spoke no English but it was no problem at all. We were tereated fantastically and our little dog too!
