  The hotel was shut. We had no advance notice. We arrived and it was closed, no staff present all locked up. I was not able to read the spanish note on the gate. Luckily the taxi driver remained and helped. He read the notice and drove me to the sister hotel, Cabogata Garden and they were expecting me.   The apartment was a few blocks away from the beach which was nice. Be sure to have the email instructions of how to access the apartment as this is a virtual check in and we didn't come in contact with anyone during our stay. The apartment itself was clean and modern. There is not much in the way of restaurants / cafes in the direct area, unless ... hva folk sier » you eat along the beach. - The appartments were very, very clean. The bathroom was impecable. We could see a tiny bit of the beach from our room so we were able to find our way to it easily. We walked to the city centre everyday. My son loved the apartment. He felt like like he was at someone's flat! 2 or 3 bakeries nearby meant we could buy fresh bread and croissants every morning.

  The hostal was good for spending one night. It's very clean, we got a spacious room with almost everything one may need - enough towels, extra blankets and pillows, etc. - The hotel was really excellent for its price. The room was quite comfortable and the staff was really helpful.

The beds were comfortable and the wifi worked in the common areas and the room. It was also secure, as the receptionist checked which room we were staying in when we returned at night.
